Children's Ministry

Christ Church KIDS seeks to bring children to an early relationship with Christ by enriching them with biblical knowledge in a safe and fun learning environment during our each of our Sunday morning and evening services. Our ministry cares for children from birth through fourth grade. Each classroom is led by loving teachers who wholeheartedly guide their students through the exploration and learning that will help lead them to Christ. Children take part in games, crafts, activities and readings that will enhance their biblical knowledge as they form friendships with fellow students. Our Children’s Ministry exists to provide a safe environment for children so their parents can attend services with peace of mind. Our caregivers seek to make the most of every opportunity to show the children the love of Christ and point them to knowledge of our Lord.

Childcare Info
  • Check-in begins 15 mins prior to the start of each service. All children must be checked in to participate. Please go to the downstairs check-in desk to check your children in and fill out other important information.
  • Childcare is provided for the entire service for children through age 5. Elementary aged children will be dismissed from the main worship service halfway through the service.
  • Children ages 3.5 through 5 (pre-K) have supervised play for the entire service along with a lesson. Their class mixes free play time with games, stories, songs, prayer, and Bible verses to begin to introduce the children to the character of God.
  • Children in Elementary school grades participate in a curriculum designed to introduce children to a systematic theology of Christian doctrine through stories, music, prayer, crafts, and games. You can find more information on the curriculum we use HERE.

*In 2022, our elders adopted a statement on the baptism of believing children. Affirmation of this document is not required for membership at CCWC, but it provides clarity on the position and practice of the elders in shepherding children who have professed faith in Christ and have not yet been baptized. You can read that statement here.
