CCWC is elder led.
Elders (also known as overseers, pastors, or bishops) are men who fulfill the qualifications of 1 Timothy 3:1-7 and Titus 1:6-9 and are tasked with leading the local church, under the ultimate authority of the Lord Jesus Christ. Elders dedicate themselves to shepherding the flock of God through prayer, the ministry of the Word, being an example to others, and giving leadership in areas the congregation does not have Biblical authority.
(Acts 6:4; Acts 20:17, 28; 1 Corinthians 11:3; Ephesians 1:22, 5:23; Colossians 1:18; 1 Timothy 3:1-7; 2 Timothy 4:2; Titus 1:5-9; 1 Peter 5:1-12)
