Sam Andreades to Teach on Gender at SNT

On Sunday, May 29, 2022, at 5 PM, Dr. Sam A. Andreades will give a lecture entitled, “EnGendered: Understanding Gender from the Bible.” What’s a real man? What makes a true woman? Is gender something genuine? Does it matter in marriage? Does it matter in church? What does God think about people who are gay and transgender? So many questions people are asking today boil down to this: What is gender? What does it mean? Why did God create us this way? Join us for a deep Biblical dive to find out why gender matters and, more, how to celebrate God’s gift in a gender-denying culture.

Sam Andreades is the Associate Pastor at Iron Works Church in Phoenixville, PA. He has been a minister for twenty years, serving congregations in Pennsylvania and in Greenwich Village, Manhattan. He is the author of two books: Engendered: God’s Gift of Gender Difference in Relationships and Dating With Discernment: 12 Questions to Make a Lasting Marriage. He and his resplendent wife, Mary K., have raised four children together—Thaddaeus, Jeremy, Veronica, and Enoch.
